WW2 Quiz (3)
« on: December 03, 2017, 12:48:09 PM »
hi ho lads.

Time for another quiz. Keep the grey stuff active.

All questions are about World War 2. I've chucked in a few hard ones this time, so dig out your Encyclopedia Britannica.

I'll post the answers in about 2 weeks.

Cheers guys.

hi mahdam. Thanks heaps for your post.

18/20 was excellent result   thumbup  There were some tricky questions in there.

I promise to make the next one a bit easier.

Many of us are probably old enough to have some recollection of what happened in WW2, but I acknowledge that it's a generational thing, and everyone has different interests in life.

My 36yo son recently visited Thailand for the first time, and I took him out to Kanchanaburi and we did the railway thing pretty extensively for 2 full days. He had absolutely no idea about the Siam-Burma railway, and the fact that over 100,000 people died during its construction.

He was astonished at the whole story.

Anyway .... I'm glad that you enjoyed searching for answers to the quiz. I enjoy preparing the questions. Keeps me off the streets  5555555555

Thanks also for your Seasons Greetings. Same same to you and your family.

And to all the expats out there .... have a really beaut Christmas and New Year.
