The second match between Thailand national team and Myanmar national team.

The second football match between Thailand national team and Myanmar national team at “New I-Mobile Stadium” of Buriram city located at Issan sub-district, Muang Buriram district, Buriram province. The result was 1:1.

Buriram military make merit and Wientian ritual.

At “Wat Pra Putthabat Khao Kradong” (Khao Kradong temple), located Samet subdistrict, Muang district, Buriram province.

There were approx 300 of Buriram military joined the Wientian ritual ceremony (candle procession) and make merit in the Buddhist Lent day for prosperity in life and to preserve the good tradition of Thailand and promote ethics for the military officials.

The first football match between Thailand national team and Myanmar national team at “New I-Mobile Stadium” of Buriram city located at Issan sub-district, Muang Buriram district, Buriram province. The result was 1:0.

Buriram has accelerate requests for artificial rain to add water in the reservoirs.

Provincial agriculture office has requested the Artificial rain operations center in Khon Kaen province and Nakhonratchasima province to operate flights to scatter chemicals to make artificial rain to fill the water in the reservoirs as in many areas are experiencing drought heavier over the past several years.

Especially in “Huay Jor Ra Khe Mak” reservoir which is the water source to produce the water supply to people of 20,000 households in Muang district and Huai Rat district which currently have water remaining only 6 million cubic meters of the reservoir capacity 26 million cubic meters.

In addition, also to help the rice farmers and the farmers who grow short-lived plants (crops) especially in Lahan Sai district and Nang Rong district that many rice fields were affected with water shortages.

Mr.Santi Nuekchob from Provincial agriculture office said that currently the artificial rain operations center has started operating flights to sprinkle chemicals to make an artificial rain already but have air quality problems, therefore the result of making artificial rain does not work as expected.

Thereafter he turned to plant lemons in the area of his house on the cultivation area over 1 rai which have 150 of lemon trees and he was using the animal manure such as pig manure, chicken manure for a composting which is the way to reduce the cost as well and the lemon planted has created his average income more than 300,000 baht a year.

His success has brought the farmers from other provinces to come and learn from him continuously.

Therefore the Provincial Agriculture Office of Buriram province has set his farms to be “the Learning Center for Farmers” or “the Agriculture Training Center of Ban Nong Mai Daeng”.

Heavy rains cause flooding 30-50 centimeters height in Buriram Municipality area.

Buriram city has been heavy raining for 3 hours which resulted many roads in Buriram municipality area were flooding such as the road to entrance to the Bus Station, Soi Saensuk and the road infront of Taweekit Supercenter that have the level of flooding at 30-50 centimeters height and caused the traffic trouble.

A second round of checking prices of religious supplies before the “Important Buddhist Religion Day”.

Department of Internal Trade of Buriram province has been out to explore the stores selling religious products again before the “important buddhist religion day” that will be in this month as following :

- On Friday, 15th July 2011 is “Asarnha Bucha DAy”

- On Saturday, 16th July 2011 is “Buddhist Lent Day”

- On Monday, 18th July 2011 is the “Substitute Buddhist Lent Day”.

Therefore, Thailand will have a long holiday from 15th – 18th July 2011.

The exploration has held to prevent the operators from taking advantage on the consumers by selling the products that expired or degenerated (get worse in quality) or not standardized or the sales price exceeds the reality.

If it detects that the operator commits an offense.

Shall be punished. Imprisonment not exceeding 7 years and a fine not exceeding 140,000 Baht.

If there is no price tag attached there will be fine not exceeding 10,000 Baht.

A second day of children making ID cards in Buriram city was bustling.

The atmosphere on the second day of children making ID cards at Buriram Municipality office was lively with many children were queuing to get their identification cards.

In addition, Buriram municipality will make Saturday a day for children applications for ID cards and will work with schools in the area to facilitate the process.

The Thailand national football team arrived Buriram.

The Thailand national football team has arrived Buriram province and stay in Thepnakhon Hotel. The national team player will practice their football at I-Mobile Stadium before the football match that will held at “New I-Mobile Stadium” of Buriram city located at Issan sub-district, Muang Buriram district, Buriram province.

The schedule as following :

- On 14th July, 15th July 2011, football match between Thailand national football team with Myanmar national football team.

- On 23rd July 2011, football match of “the 2014 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers” between Thailand national football team with Palestine national football team.
