Greetings!  party6

Looking for information  party12. Back in UK, and probably other parts of the world! There is/was a product called "hammerite".  love5 love5

A brilliant product which I used many many times. tired1
Over here in Sunny Thailand. cannot seem to find this product, so have done a little search, the closest thing I can find is a product called Rust-oleum.  Available in Thailand crazydance, but cannot find up here in the suburb of Satuek  punk

Has anyone come across this item in Buriram? oldmanwithstick If so where, Other wise I will have to order direct from Bangkok, Which is 596.10 Baht for a Quart including shipping. thought might be easier, running over to Buriram!

Thanks for any input.  redman

I have never seen either product in Buriram. Maybe a visit to Ruangsaengthai could be fruitful.

There are many Rustoleum products on Lazada.

To treat metal that is already rusted you might consider a TOA product widely available in Buriram Thailand. I stock the TOA Rust Tech for metal protection. It is a rust stopper and epoxy coating. Affordable and not imported. I took a photo of the label which might guide the OP.  Next Tuesday Jamie and the team of WestAir Air Compressors will return to Ruangsangthai with Australian designed air compressors. Thank you, Mr. Pichai.

Thanks for the reply Pichai, I have thought about that product. And still am, but being a lazy person. I just like to stick my brush into a pot/tin of paint and brush on, when it starts to get complicated with mixing things!  loco

I don't think the product requires mixing. Think picture is just showing two different tin sizes.

A new shipment of TOA wood stain and TOA two part Rust Tech to prevent corrosion on metal has arrived Thursday at Ruangsangthai in Buriram. The Rust Tech is a four to one mix with up to 10% thinner.  Local Thai workers even on a Buriram cattle ranch can scrape off rust and then paint this moderately priced TOA rust inhibitor. TOA paint on special order typically takes three days to arrive at our store. Order on a Monday and it arrives on Thursday.  Thank you, Mr. Pichai

Rust-Oleum paint is made under license in Thailand by Dyno paint. Japanese Beer brands are also made under license in Thailand by respective local beer breweries. If you require most any specific brand of home building product, and the order meets the minimum transportation quantity of the brand, my store staff will gladly place your pre paid order. One case of certain products, one truck load, one item it all depends on the home building fitting or paint you require for your house in Buriram. See Mr. Bob or Miss Jaew in the expats sales department of my family owned hardware store located in Buriram.  Sherwin Williams House paint is not often seen in Thailand. It was previously made under license in Thailand. Currently Sherwin Williams serves different OEM  markets in Thailand.
