Seriously guys, this is why people do not come on this site like they used to.

urleft, I assume wireless charging is available in the world somewhere?

Starman, urleft will have to buy new cables as he cannot charge wirelessly on 3BB at the moment.

End of, stop being so petty. The potato thread had merits, this does not.

I said, you said, he said,
Sounds more like kids in Kindergarten than supposedly  responsible adults

I'm sorry,Jivvy.

But I provided interesting information.

Just because someone didn't see it first they try to ridicule me.

Forums are for information.

If my knowledge can save someone from going and spending money that they don't need to then I find it interesting to post.

Wirless is there, as I have proved.

As with previous tech such as video, CD, DVD...etc. As soon as the new tech come out others will follow.

Wireless charging is there. Before long it will be standare. Logic of evolution of technology.

Sometimes it is just a bit difficult to get that through some thick skulls.

Like I said.

Routers do not use USB.

LOL, Darkman you are pushing up further into the darkness:

They are data transfer ports.

Designed for printers or external hard drives.

Not internet and not power.

Keep burrowing Darkman:

"I have been ignoring you, but this time you have pushed the limit.  Power your devices via wireless?  I have not seen that.

Provide the IEEE interface that supports powercharging via wireless (not bluetooth)."

Doubt answered many times.

If you read your link you may wish to change your opinion. The first 3 answers say NO.

Funny.

I actually agree with why I am here.  I provide referenced backed up coming data.  However, my troll had to interject himself with invalid capability, but this time it was too easy to prove him a troll.

And Adam, remember DT saying locked and loaded.  Post against me again and you will find out what that means.  I have not replied directly to you for years.  Do not push it.

Darkman, you interjected yourself saying wireless works.   So describe to me how I can wirelessly charge my Samsung S5 phone using my 3bb wireless.  And I will sing your praises for proving me wrong.

I can't as you appear to be blind and deaf.

Could you please explain how you currently charge your Samsung from your router via cable?

As usual, Darkman cannot back up his words with details, references, and guides.

The only conclusion is that current wireless capability will not support charging devices without changes to interfaces, cables and adapters.    Which is exactly what I said to begin with.

Once again:

https://powerbyproxi.com/wireless-charging/

And once again, describe exactly how the current 3bb wireless routers support wireless power charging.

The fact is Darkman that current 3bb wireless routers cannot change anything via wireless.

Agreed. I never said they could.

My point was that there is wireless charging technology there. Nokia Lumia, I believe was my quote. I don't recall mentioning 3bb routers as the source.

I even provided a link showing it is possible.

Read it and jog on.

BS Darkman, here is exactly what you said:

Wireless is already here. Will likely be the norm before the next 5 years.

And that was in response to:

USB-C is the emerging industry-standard connector for transmitting both data and power.
