Yes, and you get reduced entrance to 'certain golf courses'. Worth every penny.

FWIW; a good american friend of mine in his 30's who works for an IT company in the US and has been living here on back-2-back tourist visas for a couple years just bought the lowest price point of the thai elite card (5year - 500K).

He said IF he'da known it was gonna be as flawless as it is, he'da bought it years ago.

It comes with 24 limo service airport deliveries & pick upz (international flights only) per year. They meet you curb side with a thai elite staff and golf cart, whisk you thru passport control, park you in the thai elite lounge and then whisk you in the golf cart to your gate.

It's the same in reverse comin' back in. Plus it's unlimited entries/exits into the country for the 5 years the visa is valid for AND every entry gets you stamped in for an entirely new calendar year.

In fact, the only people I've heard slag the program off are people who can't afford it. Face it the Thai Elite Program has been in effect since 2003 gone thru several government changes here and is still working pretty much like it did when it rolled out.

Now I personally wouldn't pony up 2 million baht for that 20 year plan because 20 years in the glorious "Land 'O Thaiz" is like a century in a real honest to goodness country. But for people who can afford the investment AND don't want hassles at all, that 500K 5 year plan is a viable option.
