I'm due to do my 90 day in a few days. I'll give it a go. At least if it isn't up and running yet its nosy a short drive to Buriram for me. Will post how it goes if no confirmation from other members reporting before me.

Now that Buriram office is open, I wonder if the online 90 day reporting will still work for Buriram residents. Presumably if they haven't changed the system to route the applications to Buriram, then they will be rejected by KCI.

Unless the 90 day reporting is onto a central system.

Got a report that Old John did his 90 day report Monday, he arrived 0830 and was done by 1230.

An American tried to get his Visa but they told him to come back with his bank book, this despite having an US Embassy Income Statement.

Sounds like there are growing pains.

Just an update, went to Buriram immigration at 09:45 and did not get processed until 12:10. There were only 3 farang in front of my number, however, they accepted an agent bringing in about 15 " students " who were all processed before us. And it is true they only have 1 computer to work with.

4 hours for a 90 day report !!!!!!

A couple of years ago at KCI I did a yearly extension + 90 day report and a re-entry permit in 19 minutes.

The bank book (or online statements) is not an unusual request as they often want to see money coning in and out.

Probably still quicker than driving to KCI and back!    :)

No jest, however I got that info 2nd hand and not directly from John.  But it would not surprise me to have long delays during the 1st day (week) of operation while they sort things out.

Looks like it is supposed to be by the number with no 90 day report line.  More growing pains.  And with one computer I hope they figure out they can have desk check packages and use the computer only as required (I won't hold my breath).

And on the bank book the guy just forgot to bring it, he was warned.  Besides, the bank book was not updated so I told him to make sure he did it.

BTW, are they making copies in the office?  If not, where do you go for copies?

Valid point CO-CO.

I will certainly miss the visits to the markets that the wife insists on. NOT  :)

To Urleft. They were making photo copies in the actual office whilst I was there yesterday via the immigration officials. 2 were handling the paperwork whilst a civilian dressed lady typed in the details. Very painful to sit there and watch I can assure you. Hopefully they will get some more computers and also hopefully some aircon, as stated by others it is early days.
