The first date announced a few months back was a Saturday. That is most likely the day they are moving. Then they will be ready for customers on Monday 3rd.

I have had a few 90 day visits appointed to a Saturday or Sunday. Just wait and see guys, nobody will die if they go to Kap Choeng one more time. My next one is in November so like everyone else I will wait and see.

Although I laughed at the suggested date of October 1st, I do hope it is correct. I'm also hoping that as I had a home visit last year for my retirement extension it won't be required again this year (December). But, if the Buriram Office does open shortly and they decide a further visit is necessary, it would prevent the need for 2 KCI trips in quick succession.
Fingers crossed.

That would be nice, as apparently KCI is the only immigration office in the country that does home visits on retirement extensions.  Everywhere else those are only done for marriage extensions.

Not true. They were the first and the worst but there has been reports of others picking up on this nasty habit such as Nong Khai, Amrat Charoen, Udon. Not many but they have done it..

If wrong, I stand corrected.  But a quick search on TV came up with no other immigration offices making up this new requirement other than KCI since last year.  Sources?

I guess I didn't find them, then.  I searched on "home visit" and scanned the titles visually.  What should I have searched for?
