Wow, the cities could really fill their coffers if they enforced those parking rules.

still very cheap by Australian standards , one example, driving your car unregistered 15,000 thb

And of course restaurants and shops that block pavements so that you have to walk on the road (behind a row of double parked cars) will also be fined. - Hua Khiao school every day. I gave up showing my kid to use the pedestrian crossing long ago as I don't like walking down the middle of the road to get there. The policeman and crossing guardian have no problem with cars and motorbikes that make you jump back while you're on the crossing.
