Respect
« on: February 25, 2015, 07:47:53 AM »
It's a beautiful spring morning here in Sikhoraphum, it's pity that some of the members of the forum cannot match the mood of the weather and the respect shown generally by our hosts and show some respect to each other

Most people who insult other people are insecure. Insecure = lack of respect for one's self. I get sick of seeing post after post insulting or making in jokes about people I don't know. People that post this stuff certainly aren't respecting me or this forum.
I ran a business in the building trade and very rarely felt the need to show disrespect for people (when I did, it was generally violently, such as the time I threw a wheelbarrow at a disrespectful gentleman). Some of the guys were scum - they got fired in a respectful manner.
Keep it to yourself.

davu I seem to recall you telling another member to "piss off" just this morning in another post that was not even directed at you.
seems somewhat hypocritical

Sorry Davu but I think you along with a couple of others on this forum need to 'get a life'

My sincere apologies if I am wrong, but did you not state a few days ago that you had been banned off this site 2 time before ino Davu and Cooked.
If so, what was that for then???????

Just wondering like!

If you read the post you will see that it was a computer glitch and not a true ban.

He did , however, go running to Thai Visa and tell every one that he was banned because admin did not share his sense of humour. A post which you , incidentally, "liked".

Whoops! I didn't 'go running off to Thaivisa' to tell everyone etc, I saw a posting by a Thailand newbie that asked if there was some kind of conspiracy preventing him from logging into other local forums, having once logged into Thaivisa or something. This was some weeks I guess, after my user name 'davu' banned itself from my computer, probably due to my use of Adblock. IT WAS A JOKE I thought, some other people liked and appreciated it for what it was. Starman, are you stalking? Anyway my name on TV is 'cooked' any of you can go look if you find my miserable existence that interesting.

Well ok, when do you want me to throw a wheelbarrow at you? My life is and was always, very full. I don't have the time to get another one. Without meeting you, as well as two or three other people on this forum that seem intent on maintaining their status as old timers in Buriram, I am surprised at how easy it is to dislike people without meeting them. I bless the lucky stars that brought me to this my present life and can't imagine how things could get better. So, in all respect to people that deserve respect, *&^%+off.

Yes Davu. You are quite correct.

I love stalking people who call their kids brats. Who belittle local people for being uneducated. Who belittle ethnic groups for not being able to read. For putting Thai people down for not being able to speak English.

Yep. That's a great way to gain respect. Now you have told someone else to "go away".

Keyboard warriors. You do make me giggle.

I may have made comments about the educational accomplishments of Thai and minorities, I doubt that they were made in a denigrtory fashion. Seeing as I am married to a lady of Lao origins, that had only two years of schooling and speaks better English than the teacher at the school our granddaughter goes to, maybe your comments are out of order in my case. I am well aware of why education in Thailand in way under par, and I think you are also.
Maybe you prefer other posters that just repeat and exchange primitive insults on post after post> Good luck with that.
The word brat in Yorkshire and now in my part of Isaan, is a term of endearment, maybe you should get around a bit. Anything else you want to know?
