Hello everyone,

I arrived in Surin back in 2004 and I have been an active member on Surinfarang.com for the past 6 years. Many of you on this forum will recognise my tag - nomad97 - and some of you will know me personally too. I also contribute from time to time on Thaivisa.com. I am retired and married with two young daughters, one aged 9 and the other 5 years old. Both daughters were born in Surin. I have had a quick peek at your forum from time to time although I have not joined in before. I thought it was about time to rectify that, spread my wings and come and join you. I look forward to getting to know you as time goes by.

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome to the forum. How I have kept away from this forum for so long beats me. Thanks CO-CO, if I had wanted anonymity I would have changed my tag and not used nomad97. I have nothing to hide and just felt is was necessary to take a break from Surinfarang.com. I look forward to be part of this forum and joining in wherever possible. And, as Dundeemk has asked, I will not be going to Tam Tam in February.

Are you an Aussie or Brit? About the same same to us Americans, except Aussies are more easily tolerated. 

You called me out on the Retirement Dummies thread and my response is"  Do you have photo?  No, I am not challangeing you, I am just trying to gather the correct information.  Based on your post that UK Embassy imprints (basically the same as the US), a US Embassy income statement may also need Bank verification.  Which is different than 2 of my pervious extensions.
