Have been informed by Kap Choeng Immigration that the Chong Chom and the Chong Sa Ngom Border Crossing are closed by the army until further notice. Nobody out No body in.

That will make things very interesting for a couple of people I know.

They are here on Multi Non O's and heading that way next week.

I'm having a get together of KCI and KC police along with the wood chuckers at the moment, they are buying. As i get more info I shall pass it along.

Just had the immigration police round to veryfy my visa extension based on marriage and I asked them what the situation was for border crossings with regards to expats on Non O multi entry. Boarders are only closed to Thai leaving. Thai can enter and farangs can come and go. Its to stop the naughty "ex" politicians from doing a runner.

Incorrect. The only crossing that out performs CC is Poipet and that's in another league of its on.

What part of the word nobody do we not understand? YES. NOBODY. Thai,farang, Cambodian.

Personal insight. These crossing COULD be closed for a couple weeks. The powers to be DO NOT want anybody in RED leaving Thailand.

I deal with the KCI officers in the office AND I deal with KCI Officers that are posted FULL TIME at the crossing. I do not deal withe the rovers.
