As soon as I can get some conformation on CC I'll post it but this is what I have thought was behind it.

Several years ago,a Dutch guy who resided near Banmai was grassed up by his ex wife(they had recently parted) as having no Visa....It turned out his passport had expired too..........An Immigration guy turned up here & all the other local lads homes & took our fingerprints & checked our visa's.........It happened twice the last time around 6 years ago.
