Has anyone got first hand knowledge of someone who has converted a tourist visa to a Non "O" visa in country, preferably in Kap Cheong.Thanks

If conversion to marriage NO has to go to BK. Hope this info helps.

However it was at Korat. My advice is that if someone is planning/wanting to do that, don't wait, do it ASAP. I only had 7 days left when I tried and ran into a lot of issues. But understand that if I had about 21 days left on my tourist visa it would have been easier.

Have a friend convert a 30 day visa exempt with only 9 days left over to an O for retirement at KCI no problems. Also his letter from the bank for verification of funds was 6 days old and it was accepted.
