Ok plans have changed i have been asked by the manager at the local government school if i can go and help teach there so i will require work permit can i still apply for this at kap choeng or do i need to do anything different from changing to non o based on marriage??thanks for any advice offered in advance
I know very little about it, but will still add my 2 cents (which is better than one BM (has not posted yet) here that adds his 10 cents especially when he know nothing about the subject). I have a friend that is in the midst of trying to get a teaching visa. He told me that the people he is working for will take him to get the visa as his sponsors. You might check with some expat teachers about this. But if you do go to KCI by yourself, make no mention that you have been working, only that you have an offer to work. Working on other type visas can get you in trouble.
What are your credentials as a teacher Ban?Work permits are not that difficult so long as you have the right paper work.
Thanks again Gotlost i have just been reading more and seems like a lot of hard work to get work permit I do have the affirmation of freedom to marry somewhere so getting the non o is going to be my next move but was a little confused as it says i can only apply when i have a maximum of 30 days remaining on my existing stay is this correct ?cheers

I only have a TEFL so maybe not good enough for the work permit
