converting tourist triple entry visa to type o visa

ok cheang wattana have given me a non immigrant o visa now valid for 90 days  so the next stage is getting the 12 month extension 30 days before the visa expires so a trip over to kap choeng again in a few months then hopefully can do all by registered post and life will be simpler (touch wood)

as said KC does not accept mail reporting..Sorry.

If you want to make life simpler, I'd suggest a trip out to KC beforehand just to check exactly what they require.

Every office AND officer has their own agenda/rules so for the sake of a trip out (visit market and maybe a restaurant or 3) it will make your eventual application very easy.

korat will not let you report. you have to use kc.

About 4 years ago guidance notes were issued to all Immigration Police throughout Thailand saying where people should report to for each province.

If you live in Buriram or Surin you use KC
If you live in Korat you use Korat
If you live in Sisaket you use Sisaket (sub to Ubon)

for instance.

Look on the bright side, at least KC has a nice coffee shop opposite where you can also get a burger & beer! LOL!

korat will not let you report. you have to use kc.

That is totally wrong info............Everyone here in Nong Ki ,BURIRAM do their 90 day report at Dan Kwain with no problem.

2 copies of my affirmation of freedom to marry
2 copies of my wifes id
plenty of pictures of me and the wife at the house
2 copies of a map to the house
2 copies of TM7
2 60X40 MM pictures of myself

KC is far closer to you ...........unless you are travelling to Korat.
Re your visa.....I would have thought you have to show funds in the bank!

If its the same rule as Pattaya your bank letter is only valid for 48 hours

 yes kor ror 2 i have and i didnt mention letter about funds from the bank  as i dont have it yet will get it the day before
so APART FROM THE KOR RAR 2 AND THE FUNDS LETTER FROM BANK what else have the romans ever done for us !!!!
