Author Topic: UPDATE ON VISIT TO KORAT TODAY TO TRY SORT OUT MY VISA.. (Read 620 times)

Went to korat today and even though im on my last extension of my TV they still give me another 2 month Extension as of being newly married which i thought i could not get after i had my last TV extension.. Have a great lady in there who helps me everytime i see her and she told me she can either send all my info to Bangkok to get a NON O or i could go myself and get a 3 month Non O which would be lots cheaper than her sending it.. So happily good news as i dont have to leave the country in 2 months i can go to Bangkok to get my Non O for 3 months then visit korat to get the marriage visa after.. Thanks to all you guys for taking time out to answer my worries i appreciate it,, Best wishes David

FYI.. The 60 day extension has nothing to do with your original tourist visa. It is given only once ever 12 months for foreigner married to a Thai national that can show requirements which you could. Remember this extention of stay for 60 days is only once every 12 months and granted only for being married.

Yes i know but ppl told me i couldnt get this extension after someone said i could so Happy Days, I thought i was driving to Laos which i didnt want, oh and ppl have also said that i cant change from a TV to NON O at bangkok but the lady said i could,,,, So thats even better news

Thanks... Ended up having a big mac in that big shopping centre... Thought id be in and out but that burger cost me a pair of womens jeans, shorts and top... 2500 baht lighter, pricey burget it was

That lady said make sure you go to the correct place in bkk as if you dont they will say to you that you have to go back to korat,, she said many ppl go and get sent back but you can do it in bkk... more stress i can see in the future
