Mental Health Department Warns against Politics-related Stress
Tan Network 2011-07-19

BANGKOK: -- The Mental Health Department is reminding the public not to get stressed out with the pending endorsement of the MPs-elect, and suggest people should find some relaxing activities to do instead.

Mental Health Department Director-general Thawee Tangseri has urged the public to relax and not to get too stressed by the political climate as endorsement of all of the MPs has not been completed yet.

He said the deadline for the approval is two more weeks away and suggested that people should get involved with hobbies for the time being so that they do not get too stressed by politics.

As for concerns about chaos in the future, Thawee stated that endorsements by the Election Commission will not trigger a political upheaval.

And even if the poll body agrees not to give a green light, it doesn't necessarily mean there will be chaos.
