i wish to live eventually in Thailand, but do not know the first steps, can anyone advise me
Admins post is slightly misleading in that he has forgotten to say ,once you are over 50 with 800k in a Thai Bank you can live here on a retirement visa reporting to an Immigration office every 90 days BUT you must arrive here with a 1 year 'O' multi entry visa
Should this not be transfered out of the Forum Support section and into the visa section?
thank you to all that have replied, web sites that have been mentioned were a great help, may be the law might be changed one day allowing one to stay 6 months at a time.

Is the Tourist Visa free ?
I thought they were extended yet again.
