To be honest I've seen better looking girls walking around town, I've never gone a bundle on these Beauty contest's.!! 

Makes for a night out I suppose.

Just want to express one's opinion that whoever will win in this contest that does not mean she is the most beautiful girl of Buriram. But she is a talented and assertive which is another good example for future generations therefore she is a commendable person.
 
This event is one of the activities that people have the opportunity to do activities together.
It is an opportunity for buriram people show their talent. Most of people in another provinces they think Buriram is scary city and the people are Khmer. That's how people in another provinces told me when they know I'm from Buriram.

Also buriram is a small city so I think this event is very good evolution of the city and what I have seen yesterday it's a good performance as it is a first time held in Buriram and I hope that it will be continued every year. Then slowly this city will be known to other provinces.

Anyway I like that the city have an activity even it's small but at least it is something (have something it's better than have nothing).
So this should be supported so it will be continued in future. Buriram is our town. So we should be cooperated making it become a Pleasant City as the meaning of the city's name.
The cooperation is key in development.

It was a tongue in cheek statement about most Beauty contest's  I have seen in Thailand, everybody knows who's going to win before  the start.
Don't tell me The Provincial Governors daughter won it
