Any computer experts out there?

Some sites on my computer have become victims of "domain parking", anyone ever heard
of this? Anyone know how to fix it.

What happens is I click on the website I want to visit (or even type in the address), the website starts to open, but then it opens to an advertising site.

I have scanned the computer and tried all of the obvious things like clearing cookies, re booting, trying to block the ad site in privacy settings all to no avail.

Any help?? One of the affected sites is SF

Domain parking may not be the correct term for what is happening.

But what is happening is I go to a website, but an advertising site appears instead...

If talking about a certain local forum I think you will find they haven't paid their domain fee's on time....!!!!!

Are you sure boloa or are you just being mean??

This happened to me before, last time I was home, but it happened on the BBC website, I thought it was like a virus.....

As I have said , sounds like they haven't bean paying their domain fee's on time...

Or it could be just a coincident it stopped on the 6 th....

OK mate, I guess that will explain that one, but I have had this problem before. As I said it was with the BBC web site last time I was home.

Same as I have explained I would go to the website as normal, but a website called ad.doubleclick.net would appear. I tried blocking the site, but it didn't work.

Anybody had this problem before, and if so how do I stop it??

TBWG says he can log on OK, but not you and Tommynew,maybe they are blocking IP numbers..!!

Wish I had been there this morning.

I posted a few pics on SF last night, maybe thats why its dead haha.

Decided today that I don't follow Villa anymore ........it hurts too much!

But I'll be back home on Thursday and by Saturday I'll be rooting for them again as they face the Baggies. They ALWAYS win when I'm home

SF not fully operational yet; it's just offered me cosmetic surgery! Danny says it should be OK tomorrow (SF, not the surgery).

I got a mate in Pattaya that does a good line in cosmetic restructuring, Isanbirder

He will be visiting Surin in the near future to deal with an unwanted blemish, if your interested

SF is back now after Danny twidled a few knobs.

I knew one too, Dave, only he got struck off the medical register after a girl died in his surgery. TIT.
