Buriram Expats UPDATE!

The business has been sold and the business have new owner now (German guy).

I understand the business is going to change its interface and offer different style of food and might be live music there as well..

I will give a visit and confirm with the new owner for you.

Any further inputs and additional information is more than welcome!

I wish him all the best.......May have a problem to get a licence for live music due due its close proximity to other properties

So I went there today to meet the owner, name Oger, he wasn't in the place so I will see him again soon to give you more accurate details about changes/new things on offer in the place.

While being there I see they took off the main sticker of the name "Coffee Connection", Is that mean change of the place name?.. we'll update you later on.

I heard it going to be a 'Blues' bar as the owner is a muso and knows many of the Thai musicians around

Thats what the waitress said! I was also surprised to hear it, she said they only change the font type, not the name.....

Short update:

I passed there today and the new stickers saying the new name is:

Coffee Connection.
Restaurant & Bar Music.

Coffee Connection - Restaurant, Bar, Live Music.

Opening hours: Monday-Saturday 9:00am â€“ 23:00pm

This place is run by a guy name Holger/Hun, A true musician, Guitarist.

Restaurant, Bar, Live Music and also Open Mic evenings in the future.

The place is open but will be fully modified to be suitable for Music evening including a nice big garden outside for the convenience of all.

All the changes to be come sound very promising and good to see good developments in the area.

I wish the owner best luck.

Seems like the new owner did change a bit the menu.. I just tried Beef Goulash!
Excellent! 130 Baht with potatoes.

Base? Can't say I have a regular bar when in town but thanks for the heads up on what I do.

I see those who linger here are the same crew who moan over 5 baht in different bars I guess

This place was ok. Had a quick pop by yesterday. Anyway away to New York on Monday. My other 'base'

I was there in January. I returned there because I liked the tuna sandwiches. The bread he used was really good. The new owner uses different bread so the sandwich wasn't the same. Nevertheless I'm sure he will stamp his own influence on the place. Best of Luck
