Hi Admin

You are making me feel homesick! You missed a lot of the best bits of Satuk, when I get back maybe I can show you more?

Moon River resort has some nice small bungalows which unfortunately your video missed out. Also Valentines resort is next door to Moon River resort.
There is an hotel in middle of town called the Ponghan which is also reasonable.

Surprised you did not visit Mueanfunn Resort whilst out this way ~~~ maybe next time?

Moon River resort have more pictures of the bungalows in the website's hotels page as well as Valentine Hotel.

Pho Ngeon Hotel is also there but with no pictures yet.

I will be happy to get some more pictures/videos through email or here in the forum, I should have toured the whole area but it was a busy day and I just came back from a long trip.

Hi Admin and TBWG,
I will be staying in Satuk for a week or two from 30/8/2010 as my GF is from there. The Moon River Resort looks fine. Would that be the hotel of choice? Can I hire a motorsai locally? Any other info would be appreciated. TBWG if you live locally I would like to meet up and talk about Satuk and F1 if you are available.

Moon River Resort is fine, nice little Bungalows available. Can always look around and move on if not happy.

Yes I do live in Satuk, but only from mid Oct to following May each year so I can avoid the lousy UK winter, so unfortunately I will not be there during your visit, shame I could do with someone to chat about F1 with rather than listening to the other farangs droning on endlessly about Liverpool FC and Torres groin strain, yawn!

I am not aware of anywhere to hire a motorbike but would be very surprised if your g/f did not own one or at least have access to one.

I will take up your offer of advice. Perhaps after my visit. I intend to settle there in the future and will be looking at land sometime. I hope to be back in Satuk in January so maybe we can catch up then

My tip for the Hungarian is , of course , our Mark ! That is if the Red Team dont start issuing more team orders.........

Making me feel homesick! River is a lot lower than I would expect this time of year, in November when it is boat race time about 5-6 meters higher than now maybe more!
