St Georges Day lunch at Coffee Corner, Prakhon Chai

Coffee Corner will host a St Georges Day lunch on Friday 23rd April.

Although this is very much an English National Day, all Farangs are welcome to sample some typically English fare.

To assist with buying, and preparation, it will be necessary to pre-order each course. A deposit of 200 Baht will also be  required. Menu is attached below.

The lunch will be sponsored by Prakhon Chai Financial Services who will provide a (small ;D) bottle of Leo or Chang to each diner on arrival.

St Georges Day luncheons in England are usually male events. I intend to do the same as I am sure the girls will welcome a break from their husbands/boyfriends. That said, it is market day in Prakhon Chai and although this does not start until 3/4.00 pm we all know how much markets appeal to the ladies. To help fill the (time) gap Coffee Corner will supply free somtam during the afternoon and will also put together a couple of special Thai dishes for the girls.

It would be great to see some BUMS from Buriram Expats and Surin Farangites - everyone is welcome.

I'll have to look for something suitable when in the UK next month to trump whatever you have. I'm sure Tesco can oblige once again.

Perhaps we can talk CC into providing a discount -or maybe an extra beer - to those appropriately dressed for the occasion.
