FRESH BREAD BURIRAM
« on: November 26, 2009, 03:19:30 AM »
Anywhere in town that I could buy good European style bread at approx 7am ? School drop off time. Fresh toast and coffee does me till lunchtime. Would be nice if it could be shown on map. Proper milk would be a bonus as well. Looking for a supply near railway station area.Big C ,Twiket, wrong side of town for me. I know where to buy later in the day, but would like for breakfast really. Back in town Tuesday 1st Dec crazydance, so not much time to reply people. Hope to make the bash 21st Dec. Thanks.

The first and only place I can think of is MAKRO (Open 6:00am) making their own bread.

You can buy there various farang style food, for breakfast you can buy yourself a sour cream or even Cottage cheese !!  happy2

Need any pies!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest mate the wholewheat bread in 7/11 is not bad. By the time you have toasted it and put some butter and stuff on it it's quite enjoyable.

See you soon

Muang pizza in Harchana road makes fresh bread daily -and it is excellent. Don't know however what time it is available.

The wholewheat bread that Makro bake is excellent....but for some reason I've never seen it in the Buriram branch...I always get 6 when I'm in the Korat branch...It freezes well too!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever tried TESCO LOTUS bakery products?..
Tesco have the best choc chips cookies I've ever tasted in Thailand. ( About 15 Baht each, worth every baht)  biglaugh
Also their small bread buns (white/black). (About 9 baht each, they are so tiny but so tasty!)   mhihi

*All branches have the same recipe therefore same taste of course.  party3

All well and good, but where is the nearest Teco Lotus with an in-house bakery? Korat I suspect.

Order the daily meal and you got yourself a bargain. (170-200~ Baht/person not include drink).
Free salad bar include various kinds of vegetables, fruits, salads, sauces, blue cheese cream, soups, deserts, etc etc..
same back at home. Very rare to find this kind of restaurant in Thailand.

Now I'm HUNGRY !!  newargue
