How can I edit my post when I discovered an error?

The admin gave me the following reason and it makes sense. A previous post can not be edited because that will confuse the rest of later the postings. Only posts that has not been answered yet should be editable and that option will be open to us soon. Thanks ADMIN.

Here is just an example to what I mean:

I want to say: I'm h u n g r y and a n g r y or Straight as an a r r o w.
But it comes out as: I'm hungry and angry. Straight as an arrow - and did not want to use smileys

I found the option to Don't use smileys but I'm lazy and don't always look for these options.

Thank you for your note.

I've changed it a bit to a up to 1 minute later after posting EDIT IS POSSIBLE.

Is it enough time for your opinion?  love5

Hi again,

You'll see a button "Modify" on the text box of your post.
Click on it and modify your message and click SAVE.

That should be ok.  party3

He can tell me the content of the message.
I delete/edit only pure spam or extremely rude offensive messages.
Anyway, my point is that I haven't deleted any message in the last 48 hours at least so I have no idea what he is talking about.
