« on: January 27, 2022, 10:42:19 AM »
People seem to be having more success with this New Online 90 Day Report Website.
i.e. People who could not successfully report using the previous website are now having greater success with this new site.
Like the other website you cannot connect if you are using a VPN.

I did mine 3 1/2 months ago using the link and since then renewed my extension...  Worked easy.. Better than spending the whole day driving to Burriram Immigration just for a new bit of paper with a stamp on it..

Hi Fishy, do you still get something to print out with this computer system? At present I have as you mention a piece of paper stapled into my passport with a date on it from Immigration. If not, how does anyone who checks your passport know you have done a 90 day notification?
Cheers
Bart

@Thai Baht, Yes you do get a copy to print out and put in your passport. It is a TM47 form identical to the one Immigration give you with a date for your next 90 day notification. The first time you use the online reporting it is a little hard to work out but once you have done it it once it is easy.

@Thai Bart I forgot to mention make sure you turn off your VPN (virtual private network) on your computer if you are using one otherwise you will be blocked from entering the web pages.

I'm sure I've seen somewhere the Thai government were in the throes of abolishing the 90 day report. It does, after all, seem a little over the top.

I remember when my wife first came to UK on a settlement visa. After the initial meeting to get her biometrics card, there was no need for anything mildly bureaucratic until time to renew. That is over 2 years.

I think that what you saw was that there are demands for the 90 day report to be abolished. On being asked why we have to do 90 days report, the Thai Immigration boss said, and this is a typical bureaucratic reply "Because it's the law". I doubt that it will go away any time soon.

It wasn't about demands. It was an immigration announcement.

They were talking about abolishing it at the same time the TM30 stuff was going on. Then it was mentioned again, I think after first lockdown, when they were touting ideas to get tourists and long term residents back and new ones to arrive.
