Heavy Duty Lathe

I am looking for a heavy duty used old style lathe with tools. Typical the 1ton size ... anyone have one for sale or know anywhere in Buri Ram there might be one for sale?

Thanks, but need the main machine first. Have been in contact with makers around the world and can get new ones. But, import duty/tax is a big unknown and I like to use the old style without computer and digital settings etc...  basically to be used for local machinery repairs etc. And for hobby purpose - not for manufacturing :-)

I am not an expert but a quick search of "lathe" brings up many hits on Marketplace. The Thai word is กลึง.

... will try a little later. I would prefer to see the beast before I buy it... after all normal weight is around 1ton...  so logistics needed :-)

I?m interested to see what you will produce with this machine. Are you going to use it for metal or wood work?

Did you visit / contact Ruangsangthai in Buriram?  This hardware shop has an almost unlimited supply of all sorts of hardware. Furthermore they have a big network of suppliers.
