Bogus Forbes Representaive

If any of you have any Forbes appliances that are serviced each year please be vary. We have a water purifier that is serviced and cleaned each year and recently a so called representative of the firm turned up at the house to service the machine. He performed all the usual actions and replaced the filter, my wife paid the 3400b fee in to his bank and off he went. When I got home and tasted the water it tasted as though it just came out of the tap. My wife contacted the guy and he said he would return, he never did. We contacted Forbes who were aware that a team of former employees were we responsible for this con. What they actually do is fit old filters they have removed from a previous address. They are a bit careless leaving phone details and bank detail but I am sure they will have this covered. The matter has been reported to the police so I imagine nothing will happen, so if any of you have an appliance and an agent calls contact Forbes before allowing access.
