Road to Buriram airport
« on: April 28, 2010, 11:35:18 AM »
Hi Bums

If you are intending to use the road from Buriram to Satuk i.e. the 219 airport road beware of the road works, they have now reached the stage where they are spraying the surface with tar. My pristine white vehicle now resembles a dalmatian dog! confused4

On taking it to the local car cleaners who allways do an excellent job I was  put in a queue of 5 vehicles all needing to be de-tarred! vampv

Price 500 baht rather than the usual 140!  Good business for some!

So I will be avoiding Buriram for the time being unless I can find another route....................any ideas?

just drive slower, maybe install some stairs on the sides of the car to avoid the tar jumping up to the doors, that includes stones from the roads damaging the doors with small dents.  brick1
