I hope all goes well for u.  Sometimes things do not go as planned.  I had a house in Buriram city, 4 beds 2 baths etc.  No longer as we have split.  So enjoy while it lasts but just remember to keep something aside for yourself just for insurance.

The saying for farangs in Thailand is never spend more than you can afford to lose! Just imagine the ignominy of having to return to the home country, penniless!

Fortunately I have not lost everything, so I can still come back to Thailand.  Although we split we are still good friends, in fact the step son who is 18 lives with me.  He has a choice, but decides to live with me.  That has advantages, as some nights i dont have to cook, she still comes and delivers dinner for the both of us.  And its good to have company so Im not complaining.  But it doesn't hurt to have insurance!!!  Or as he said above, dont invest more than what you can afford to lose.  My next house will be a little smaller, Im thinking 2 beds and 1 bathroom!!!
