Buriram Immigration
« on: July 06, 2019, 09:34:31 AM »
About a week ago I sent an email to Buriram Immigration, but have not had a reply as yet. I need answers for a couple of questions and as I am new to this group, maybe someone can help.

My Wife recently registered on line to enable me to submit TM30 reports, how long does it take for Immigration to reply and provide a User Name and Password?

I have an O-A, Non Imigrant Visa and in March next year I will be applying for the first extension. I would like to do this on the basis of marriage to a Thai citizen. What documents and other information will I need?

Thanks in advance.

With regards to your enquiry about extensions, you may wish to look here, start on page 13:

I registered for TM30 online using the Section38 android app about two weeks ago. I got a userid and password the next day. As part of the registration process within the Section38 app, I uploaded pdf versions of my wifes ID card and Tabian Bahn and the photo ID page of my passport.

Thanks for your replies, really helpful.  In regard to the Kor Ror 2 requirement for the marriage extension. I have both the Kor Ror 2 and 3 given to us after we we registered our marriage. Is this what is required or must I get another Kor Ror 2 from the Amphur?

I'm not sure what the shelf life of a KR2 is. Maybe 6 months. It is easy to get an updated one. So long as you were married within the last 10 years or so you can get one from any district office. You do not need to go back to the one where your marriage is registered.

If your amphur is typically busy there is an office in the same building as immigration that can update for you. When my wife went just after lunch time there was no waiting. I don?t know exactly which office it is only know it is upstairs from Immigration. Wife is out shopping so not here to ask.
