For the do it yourselfers.....I found a great auto parts store which has very reasonable prices. It is run by a young lady named Benz and her mom. I have an old car to use as the "family car" and something for me to tinker with. If Benz does not have the part in stock she will order and gets it in just a couple days. They are located east of the main Bangkok bank. Driving east with the bank behind you it is a couple hundred meters from the intersection on the right under a big yellow sign. Hope this helps someone.
