Bus to Udon Thanee

A friend of mine wants to travel to Udon from Surin but there are no buses from Surin , are there any from Burriram ?

No.The nearest bus station that has direct buses to Udorn is Korat.

Best bet is Surin to Khon Kaen. Buses leave every 40 minutes. Bus number 281. Best to get 1st class bus (ป1). From Surin to KK should be about 4 and a half hours. If you get 2nd class you can add another hour onto that.

Then get the bus to Udorn.

Better option will be to take bus to Korat and take overnight train with aircon compartment. We took it and it was great.

Seems a long drawn out way to do it , hes gone now he got the bus from Surin to Khon Kean the a bus to Udon .

Yes. It seems long drawn, but we were in Prakhon Chai rather than Surin,
