Beer Prices have increased recently

At least one distributor in Buriram has half his godown full of Chang, and sells currently at 390 per case;  I've heard of another in Krasang selling at 395.  Makro has not caught on;  their price is still 413.

I should have added that the experience of one small shop in our village is that most local men are turning from beer to lao kao, and beer sales are substantially down.

In Nong Ki & Nang Rong I can buy it for 380 per case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now what I'd really like is a place to get Leo cheap (for resale of course;  I don't drink the stuff!).  Their whacking big increase from 417-422 to 485 (Makro prices) seems to have held;  I can get it for 480, and have heard rumours of 477... but I wonder how they're selling the stuff at these prices when the much cheaper Chang are obviously having some difficulty.  Partly the low sales are because of the dreadful weather for the rice farmers, who simply don't have the money to spare.  Incidentally I'm not a retailer (how could I be as a retired farang?)... just closely connected to one!

I am currently paying 479 for Large Leo!!!!!!!!!!
The Isaan Beer<also owned by Singha> was 325 before the increases,,,,,shot up to 450,came back down to 430,then 370 & as of now 350.......Just makes one wonder doesn't it!!!!!!!!!!

Thats the cheapest I've seen Leo ,thats if they have any.Makro is nororious for advertising these 'special offers' but not actually having any in stock.Strangely the day after these 'offers' end they have plenty available!!!!!!!!!!!!!
