I wouldn't worry.I have never met anybody that has been turned down after they have been checked out by the local Immigration and have been given the 30 day stamp.

Sorry.......apart from one guy that got turned down for using the same photos from the previous year and was asked to supply new photos by the Bangkok Immigration. So for anybody re-applying the 2nd year, make sure you don't use old photos and have new photo's each year
Ok so what checks are the immigration actually doing in the 30 days after i aply for my 12 month extension on my non immigrant o marriage visa ??is it just background checks and stuff like this with the embassy ,do they check all the information given in the forms ,do they verify the funds in bank even though i have taken the written bank confirmation allready? are they checking my wifes credentials? i hate all this waiting around
Quick update i called immigration 3 weeks after i was visited and have been told to come back to kci a couple of days before the 8th of october so none the wiser and this is a pain in the ass because i feel sure they are gonna try and stiff me on a technicality oh well sit back and wait it is then
I understand that but i took it when the man from immigration told me to call in 2 weeks if i havent had a call to mean that it was getting sorted in that time frame hence my confusion to be told to wait another month and a bit lol
