MPs call for a 32% pay increase.
« on: July 01, 2013, 12:48:38 PM »
While most people in the U.K. struggle day to day to meet the ever increasing cost of living, some are looking for a massive pay rise.

Yes MPs are looking for a 32% pay increase.

UNBELIEVABLE.

We need to raise unemployment benefit, housing benefit, sick benefitand that's only the start.

All of this comes just after the government brings in a new scheme on Housing benefits.

So the MPs get a 32% pay rise and the poor lose out on somewhere to live.

TAKE AWAY THEIR PAY RISE AND PUT THE BENEFITS UP,let's all have a share of the wealth.

WHEN WILL THE PEOPLE OF BRITAIN WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT THEY ARE BEING SCREWED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT.

Seems an odd thing to say.WHO CARES.

Well i would imagine the British people, because they are the ones that are being screwed.

People are finding it's becoming increasing more difficult to maintain a descent lifestyle, with housing benefit cuts, along with a very low unemployment benefit, while the government turn around and give themselves a 32% pay increase.
After all they are already on an annual income of around 90,000 Pound a year,so wouldn't the money be better spent on education and the National Health System and the social security system.
That's why i made the statement above "WHEN WILL THE PEOPLE OF BRITAIN WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT THEY ARE BEING SCREWED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT'.

I wouldn't think the U.K citizens find it BORING.

My father, son and grandchildren live there and are victims of this corrupt system.

I am not against corruption as long as it works the right way.

I think we all live with the same morals in life, take what you can, whenever you can,and as much as you can,and by whatever means you can, because that's the way people have to live,it's what the government do. party4

I respect your views on unemployment and housing benefits, but there is a wide spectrum on these benefits,ie some
deserve the benefits and most probably some don't.

But as for the sickness benefit which would cover a multitude of circumstances i feel that's a bit unfair.
Yes there are malingers of course, but there are a lot of people that fully deserve to be looked after by the state through no fault of their own.

Agree a litle about the sickness benifits but I know several people in the UK who claim sickness benifit and there are jobs they can do,yes there are those who are unable to work(not the bad back brigade)and they should be looked after by the goverment.
