Where to buy prescription medicine in Buriram
« on: February 22, 2013, 06:00:38 PM »
Have decided to stay on in Thailand for an extra couple of months.
This will mean that my UK prescription tablets i brought with me will run out before my return.
Can anyone tell me where i might be able to buy more supplies in the Buriram or Surin area?

using the BE map:

Look north of the Day Market between Tanee Road and Lukmaung Road.

There are 2 Pharmasists on the west side (about the middle).  The smaller pharmacy has an middle aged lady that speaks OK English.  Try her.

The larger Pharmacy with 2 aisles has a lot chinese herbs.

The only pharmacist I found that takes the trouble to get you what you need, she goes to Bangkok regularly to get stuff. The arrogance of the Chinese guy astonished me.

I haven't looked at the map, but I think I know where you mean.

The large chemist diagonally across from the Bangkok Bank???? That is possibly the best pharmacy in town. The one up the road is also good. She used to be the pharmacist at Buririam Hospital.

Just went to this Pharmacy today, the lady was out, but her son was there.  He speaks very good English and provided the same medication as his mom.

I am on the end of some kind of sinus infection, my friend was just beginning.  The lady had provided me medication last week, her son bascially gave the same thing to my friend.
