I am quite sure people do their own market reserch. No point being open in the morning if nobody is going to come.

As I understand it the two bars mentioned stay open quite late at night.

That is probably why they were not open at 12:30.

Bamboo has always been more of somewhere to eat rather than drink so they open earlier.

The Bamboo certainly is not as busy as it used to be.

Like I said it is more of an eatery.

Do not really want to see bars full of westerners getting pissed at 10am now do we.

I think the Bamboo bar opens at mid day ,as should all bar restaurants , 10 am not sure what you mean by that !Maybe Weatherspoons might be the answer to that pal.

I was in the Bamboo bar about a month ago 2-pm I counted 29 farangs ,now thats a lot of farangs ,plus all there wifes ,this place is busy .

The Bamboo is in fact open for breakfast. Long time before noon.

The point I was making is that if a "bar" opened at 10am then it would likely attract some undesirables.

29 farangs you say. Sure you did not have double vision.

As I understand you live in Surin,Alan. So maybe you do not go passed as many times as I do. I go passed every day, sometimes twice a day. Never seen more than about 10 farangs at a time.

Not saying anything against the Bamboo. It serves a purpose, although as you mentioned the food is only ever OK at best.
