Honda giving away 50 tickets for Utd v Liverpool

Fifty lucky winners from AP Honda's "Road to Old Trafford" campaign will earn a once-in-a lifetime experience to watch the clash between Manchester United and Liverpool, a traditional highlight of the Premier League calendar, in England next year.
The campaign, which also features more than Bt25 million in prizes, has received huge response in footballmad Thailand, where the two English giants have a large fan base.

"It's a good sign that our sport-related campaigns have received a positive response from our customers. During the Honda Click i campaign in 2009, we got more than one million entrants in the raffle for tickets to the match between Liverpool and Thailand.

"This year, we have received around two million entrants for the "Road to Old Trafford" campaign to win a trip to watch Manchester United host their great rivals Liverpool in February in the UK," said AP Honda vice president Arnop Phornprapha.

Arnop hopes the campaign will help put the smile back on the faces of Thais, many of whom fell victim to the recent floods.

"The flooding this year has seriously affected a large number of Thai people. We would be delighted if this campaign provides a welcome distraction during this tough time. We're hoping that some of those affected by the flood will win tickets."

The "Road to Old Trafford" is a part of the "Honda Hot Games" campaign launched mid year. Along with the 50 tickets to Old Trafford, other prizes include 25 limitededition Honda Scoopy i bikes featuring the Liverpool logo, and another 25 in Manchester United colours, 500 jackets and 5,000 backpacks, all in the respective teams' colours.

The winners of "Honda, Road to Old Trafford" will be announced on December 6 at www.APHonda.co.th.
