Everyone is missing the point.

A job is on offer. You arrange an interview. The terms and conditions are outlined to you. You are offered the job and you accept.

What right do you then have to demand a change in those conditions?

If you weren't happy at the outset (insufficient pay, holiday, pensions, lack of a meal etc)  then you could have said NO THANKS!

You mean, striking because of working conditions is per se wrong?

I still think it is more appropriate to let the workers get a meal set of their choice (lets say up to 100 Baht) from the menu, One meal for each worker each shift.
Its a shame and the boss is to blame bad manager bad workers.
He must have learnt it somewhere at university!  hungry1

Almog, you are either taking the p!ss or trying to stoke up responses on this thread.

A 100 Baht meal set FFS !

We START new employees on 100 Baht a day and give them bread and dripping and a glass of water twice a day (Somtam on Wednesdays).

They should be bloody grateful that we are keeping them off the streets (or bars of Pattaya).

Anyone complaining like these ungrateful oiks should be given 20 lashes.

A change of conditions for the worse is a different matter.

Totally agree with CoCo for once. Only if working conditions change has the employee the right to strike or he may cease his employment.

He made his bed so he can lie in it!

If working conditions were so awful, KFC would not currently have a workforce running into thousands in Thailand alone.

Thai's might make a bit of a song and dance, but when it comes to it I doubt any would stike.  They need the money  and the left over chicken!

I read  a lot of BS on the internet but your reply  must be somewhere in the top 5 bullshitstatements of all times.

I had hoped it would get in the top 3 !

I somehow thought that a bullshit appraisal from you would have been better.
