HONDA STEED 400 CUSTOM FOR SALE
« on: October 22, 2010, 07:43:51 AM »
Now that my bike is running great, i have decided to get a bigger one.

Its a 93(ish) Steed 400c cruiser that I have renovated with top quality parts. Everything works and it has 11 months on the tax & Honda insurance. The bike is in my name and has a full legal GreenBook(i'M TOLD THATS 50K'S WORTH OF PAPER!???).

Over the last year I have replaced the following.

Reconditioned radiator
NEW condenser, leads, coils, all filters, therostat, chrome air box, swinging arm covers, expensive 'O' ring chain & sprockets, chrome mirrors, expensive battery(it starts first time, every time) and Fork seals/oils.

As it has custom tank, side panels,fender/lighting,Big comfortable seat (Thanks, MIke), other 'banana' style seat available, air box+++++; it is quote different from any other Steed on the road.

Its available for a test-ride anytime. A few 'tyre kickers' have offered me various prices when I didn't want to sell, so I am open to sensible offers?????

This is a picture when on last weeks 200k+ Charity Bike Run.

Re-advertised for sale as I have been offered a very nice replacement bike AFTER I spent a fortune on the abovementioned paintwork and chroming.

As said before "I am open to sensible offers??"

This bike has been maintained as if I am keeping it, but someone has offered me a very good deal on an alternative bigger bike.
With that in mind, I have not increased what I think the bike is worth, even after the recent work done on it.
