Just to let you know that Coffee Corner will be closed from 2nd January, re-opening on Friday 8th January.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all our existing (and future) customers a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.

I've been in the place few days ago as I passed in Prakhon Chai.
Very nice place with good view on the main road.
Ordered "Americano" coffee. was great.

I understand Ray, the owner is in England right now.

She had not seen Falang food prior to October and now she can turn out excellent fish & chips, mashed potatoes, omelettes etc, etc

Our English dishes are served with either Steak Chips or Crinkle Cut chips. Mashed Potatoes or Chips are alternatives with all dishes, as are Garden Peas or Baked Beans. Seasonal Vegetables are usually peas and carrot.

Min 250g uncooked weight of succulent Rump, Rib-Eye or T-Bone Steak served with Steak Chips and Peas or Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. Gravy.

TENDERLOIN FILLET STEAK 225 Baht

Min 250g uncooked weight of prime Tenderloin Beef . Served with Steak Chips and Peas or Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. Gravy.

Tenderloin/fillet - This is an 'internal' muscle and does little work so is very tender. However it doesn't have a strong flavor.
Rump - Rich 'beefy' flavour, with a grainier texture than tenderloin. It isn't as tender.
Ribeye - This steak comes from the forequarter ( and as such it has great flavor. It also tends to have a little more fat.
T-Boneâ€”taken from the small end of the loin and containing a T-shaped bone.

These are the cooking definitions that we aim for:-

Well done: Grayish-brown with no sign of pink, usually slightly charred on the outside.
Medium well: Mostly gray-brown throughout, but with a hint of pale pink inside. Good for someone who wants a slightly juicy steak, but not any sign of "blood" in their meat.
Medium: A more pronounced band of pink in the middle of the steak. However, there should still be slightly more gray-brown than pink coloration.
Medium rare: Warm and mostly pink to red center. Firm on the outside,
soft and juicy on the inside.
