Anyway if you want a special number you can always go to the Transportation office in Buriram and check if the plate number you want is available and of course..pay the price if it's rare number.

My missus decided that she would like a custom plate for the new wheels. The 500baht price shown is nothing close to what they pay. Number 9 went for 650,000 and apparently that was cheap. Up the road it went for 1.2 million. She paid 17500 for the one she liked which was 4 numbers in 2 pairs. I think she's nuts but she earnt, she can spend it. Now I just have to see if it is going to be a police magnet or not.
