Official confirmation today that the Royal cremation will occur on
Thursday 26th October 2017
Royal ceremonies will take place over a 5 day period ..... 25th-29th Oct. with the actual cremation happening on the 26th
This confirmation was in the form of a letter from the current King to Prime Minister Prayut dated today, and immediately made public.
The cremation will take place in the big parkland immediately opposite the Grand Palace in BKK.
No doubt it will be a enormous spectacle, albeit a very very sad day for most Thai's, who have only ever known one King.
