Post by: sprog1 on March 16, 2017, 03:55:54 PM
This is a kitchen we did for a client just outside Buriram.
Base & Tall cabinet doors are finished in a high gloss laminate & the top cabinets are a matt White
  Counter tops are solid surface.
All fixtures & fitting were from HAFELE, with soft close doors & draws

High gloss laminated what?  What kind of solid surface?  If it's painted I'm guessing molded fiber board?

Hi David, the high gloss laminate is Wilsonart formica, strong, easy to clean, & comes in a variety of colours, wood finishes & metal finishes, it is approx 1mm thick. It is laminated then onto 19mm thick paricle board or MDF, whichever the client wants We also use 3mm high gloss Acrylic, but in this kitchen we used formica.
The Solid Surface worktops are 12mm Acrylic, which can be built up to whatever thickness you require. It is hygienic, stylish, & modern. The joints are invisible & any scratches can be easily polished out. It comes in a variety of colours, & textures, from plain to granite looking. There is no painting
We also do High Pressure Laminate, & Solid Wood, Teak, Oak, & Walnut worktops
All our Kitchens are made here in Buriram

What is the cost of a kitchen like that installed?

Very nice. If you were to make it in in hardwood only say teakwood or similar with granite countertops what would the ballpark price be not including install or fixtures.  I am starting a house build and need to know what to budget for something like that. Feel free to pm me if you think that is most appropriate. I'm looking at 4x4 meter wall space to build upon.
