Title: MAking the move to Buriram

So after years of planning, and some worries, we are making the move next month. I appreciate the advice and odd non-useful replies to various topics. Eventually I will be on a retirement extension  (for all the visa grammar Nazi's out there). Looking forward to making the transition to early semi-retirement (I am 53 years old).

We are shipping several boxes of household goods, I would have wished for less, but in the interest of domestic tranquility I went along. Look forward to meeting some of the members in late Feb-Mar 2017.

The one thing that we all have in common is that we departed our home countries to live in the boonies of rural Thailand.

Thanks Nookie, we should have everything we need and anything else we can get in Thailand or the next time we come back to the USA for a visit.
