There's a free Airport Shuttle Bus
http://www.thaizer.com/travel-in-thailand/free-airport-shuttle-bus-between-bangkok-suvarnabhumi-and-don-muang/
or get a Metered Taxi
-
Thanks.
But I am not going to Don Muang.
I am taking a car to Non Din Daeng.
The last three years I have driven myself, but this time i tought I would rent a van.

Sorry misread your post

We have a cousin who has his own minibus and lives in NDD. If you want I can ask him if he is free and the cost. Let me know.

Mike's reply is a good idea.
There are numerous limousine services available in Bangkok and BKK areas. Just ask hotel desk clerks about limousine service. Price is not that expensive.
-
I have used Siam Taxi Tour for years, just used them last week from BKK to Buriram (4500 baht).

Hi Mike.
If you can check with your cusin, it would be great.
Just send me a message :)
Thanks urleft.
I will have my girlfrien call Siam Taxi, as I find it difficult mailing with Thais ;D

Mr. Chan 0811339615. Speaks some English too.
-
I used Oriental Escape www.orientalescape.com 3 times at my last trip to Thailand, and can not praise them enough. They made everything so easy and pleasant. Absolutely first rate!
-
Thank you.
Will try to contact them! :)

I have now been in contact with both Siam Taxi, and oriental escape.
Siam Taxi wants 3800 BHT, and oriental escape wants 6000 BHT for the same ride.
Now I only wait for mike's cusin to give me an offer :)

There is also the option of flying Nok Air one way to Buriram from Don Mueang for about 800 Baht. That would get you to the Buriram airport. from there, finding transport to Non Din Daeng should be about 1000 Baht; or take a bus for about 100 Baht.
There is a free shuttle service from BKK to Don Mueang.
-
If you fly Nok out of Don Muang you can take the free shuttle from BKK to DMH. However I suggest if you have more than 15kg luggage sign up for the Nok air club, its free, and you can purchase more weight at the time you book the ticket for far less than if you pay excess weight at the check in (I found this out when I went to check in with 40 kg of luggage the first time.) I just scheduled my flight at end of june for 1000 baht with extra luggage. Another option, Nokonchai Air gold class bus for about 350 baht BKK to buriram, or they may have a schedule to your village. You can schedule the bus online as well, and not worry about how many bags and weight. If you take the bus I suggest daytime trip. Many options.

You can also ask them to let you off along the way; i.e. Nang Rong (near the bus station?)

I don't know of a regular bus service from Nang Rong to NDD,I guess the YELLOW Bus ,Mukdahan - Rayong may take you but at what cost??
Any of the many Nakonchai routes that ply thro Nang Rong will drop you off,Buriram,Sisaket,Surin,Ubon, there are even 2 a day that go to Khon Kaen!!
-
Yes.
I have been looking on Nok Air, and the option to fly to Buriram, and get someone to pick us up there.
But the plane leaves Don Muang at 14.20, and we arrive at Suwarnabhumi at 07.00. Faster to take a car!
A bus is not something for me! :)
I think the offer from Siam Taxi is ok, so I am going to use them

AirAsia has a flight that leaves DMK at 12:25 and arrives BFV at 13:20, maybe that is an alternative ?
Please note, times / price listed is just an example as I have no idea when you will be arriving

Hi.
Thanks.
But if i remember correctly, it takes about five hours to drive to NDD.
Still faster to take a car. :)

For what little my opinion matters I also would do it that way. Not just for the faster route but what I term the Hassle factor:
Hassle to change airports carrying luggage.
Hassel to check in at airline.
Hassel to go through security.
Hassel to get another "taxi" from Buriram.
I could have saved maybe an hour by using Air Asia, but the hassle of lugguge transfer (had 3 large bag with 2 carry-on) was a deciding factor. BKK to the door of my Buriram Home was the least hassle. However, I will also admit I could probably have saved over 1000 baht if I had flown to Buriram.

5 hours if you are lucky ;) But I agree with Urleft above, if arriving and departing from the same airport, I would take the plane. But as you are arriving at BKK and plane leaves at DMK it's a lot of hassle.

Airport to NDD 2 HRS 20 MINS max

Had some friends come visit, because of travel issues they did not arrive as scheduled and spent the night in Bangkok. We planned on flying into Buriram but the flights were booked. So I emailed Siamtaxi along with a google map view of my house and gave them the hotel to get my friends. The left Bangkok at 0900 and arrived my home at 1415 in a nice van, very reasonable price.
So it worked very well. High praise for Siamtaxi.
-
How much did they charge Bangkok to Buriram?
-
Go with the 4500 + 300 (extra for Asoke hotel instead of BKK). I had a discount because of a previous trip.
-
Thank you.

The van that leaves from the Buriram bus terminal going to Sateuk will drop you at the airport for 80 baht.

At the terminal, or on the main road? Could be a long walk!

I would imagine that would be to the terminal. The fare from Buriram to Satuek is only about 50 baht. Sounds like an extra charge to turn into the airport.

I was afraid to ask but he did take me all the way to the front door of the terminal.

Regarding the fee yes indeed it is a bit higher but it was also posted at the bus terminal at the price as charged.
