The late afternoon thunderstorm on Wed 20th was quite severe here in Buriram town. High winds and even hail caused lots of damage and resulted in the inevitable power blackout.
Usually power returns after an hour or so here, but on this occasion it was still off three hours later and seeing the amount of damage near the Home Pro traffic lights, I thought it might take a day or two.
It was therefore a pleasant surprise when the lights came on just after 4 in the morning.
The PEA guys must have worked all night and I think they deserve much praise.
