Is there a Thai company that sells cheap phone calls to Australia? From TELSTRA Australia it cost $10 AUD per month (250 Baht) for 220 minutes from Australia to Thailand. Is there a comparable service from Thailand to Australia? If so, where can I find the company?

if you have internet capability with your phone check "VIBER". works great for me to call US however I believe it works world wide. It is "pay as you go" no monthly fees. Works great on a wifi connection

I use https://hangouts.google.com/ when making calls; no charge and clear as a bell.

To call Australia from Thailand I reckon the cheapest and best option is to use an internet based app (Application) on your phone. If your really a cheap charley you can find a place that has free internet WIFI and the cost is 0 Baht. I use either the Messenger or Line app and as long as there is a reasonable internet connection I generally have no issues with it. Sometimes the connection strength can be sporadic especially in the wet season etc. In Australia to phone Thailand I also found a phone company called Likeamobile which you prepay for calls on a Sim Card. There are no monthly fees and it costs something like 20cents AUD to connect and then 2cents per minute to talk to a mobile. If it's a land line then 20cents to connect and then Free!! When the TGF is in Australia she talks for hours each day to a land line. It is much clearer than using the internet and more chance of getting through if the internet is down at the rice farm. $10Aud goes a long way with Lycamobile. Lycamobile also piggybacks of the Telstra network so you get good coverage in Aus. Do a Google search on them for more info. I'm getting of the topic but maybe good advise to some?

For Thailand to Australia
Messenger; Skype; Viber; Line; Tango. Either of which is OK while having breakfast at the Best Western or at any good coffee place that has Wifi. Paddy's and Jimmy's both have good WiFi
