Title: Thanks for the add

Hi everyone

Thanks for the add. I'm new to the forum but have been viewing your discussions for some time. I'll be visiting Buriram (Prakhon Chai) next week for the first time and if all goes well I hope to make the move before the end of the year. The information I've gleaned so far has been invaluable.

I'm a 47yo retired Australian sailor with a TGF (soon to be wife) and can't wait to escape the hustle and bustle of home to start afresh in what looks to be great part of Thailand. The fact that there is a thriving expat community has sealed the deal.

I look forward to meeting some of you soon and appreciate all the great (and not so great) information that you share.

Regards

Craig

Welcome Craig. Hope your move over goes smoothly and congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and retirement.

Welcome. Retirement at 47! I hope you have plans to keep yourself occupied as I did that at 48 and on hindsight, it was far too young to do nothing. It can also soon get very expensive living a life of a tourist!!! HaHa!
Best of luck!

Welcome.

There a couple of Aussies around  Prakhonchai - even more of the buggers in Surin!

Plenty of old seamen as well............
